TRP Cathedral High Lift Stage 1 Cam is best suited for those who want a nice bump in tq/hp without sacrificing drivability or low-end torque in their 99-13 GM Truck or SUV with 4.8/5.3 and 99-07 car and truck 5.7/6.0 with cathedral port cylinder heads.

TRP camshafts are ground in USA on USA made 5150 cores that have a smooth lobe design for quiet valvetrain operation and longevity. The idle quality will be smooth with a mild lope, and the drivability will be great pulling out to 6500 RPM.

Notes:

  • Long Tube Header & Free flowing exhaust required. Works with stock gearing and torque converter. 2600+ stall recommended for 4.8L engines.
  • This cam requires the use of a .625" Beehive Valve Spring Kit or a .660" Dual Valve Spring Kit
  • This cam requires the use of 5/16" Chromoly Pushrods
  • This is a 3-bolt camshaft and will not work with DOD/AFM or VVT systems. We offer this camshaft in a kit with everything needed to complete the job.
