TRP Cathedral High Lift Stage 4 Cam is best suited for those who want to maximize horsepower but maintain good street manners in 4.8/5.3/5.7/6.0 cathedral port applications and designed to not have any PTV clearance issues. It is ALWAYS recommended to check piston to valve clearance.
TRP camshafts are ground in USA on USA made 5150 cores that have a smooth lobe design for quiet valvetrain operation and longevity. Coming in with 14* of overlap the idle will have a heavy lope, and the drivability will be decent pulling out to 7200+ RPM. This is not recommended for a daily driver. Works great with a 200 shot of nitrous.
Notes:
- Long Tube Headers w/ Free flowing exhaust, 4.10+ gear and 3600+ torque converter required.
- This cam requires the use of a .660" Dual Valve Spring Kit
- This cam requires the use of 5/16" Chromoly Pushrods
- This is a 3-bolt camshaft and will not work with DOD/AFM or VVT systems.
