TRP 4.8/5.3 Chop Force One Jr NSR Drop In Cam is best suited for those who want to add a little bump in HP/TQ and some lope in your 99-13 GM Truck or SUV with a 4.8L or 5.3L while on a budget!

TRP camshafts are ground in USA on USA made 5150 cores that have a smooth lobe design for quiet valvetrain operation and longevity. The idle quality will be smooth with a nice lope, and the drivability will be like stock pulling out to 6000 RPM.

You can expect to pick up around 45 HP and 20 ft/lbs of torque with long tube headers and a free-flowing exhaust after proper tuning. This camshaft does not require a full exhaust but will benefit from it. Stock gearing and torque converter will work.

Notes:

• This is a drop in NSR camshaft that does NOT require a valve spring upgrade
• This is a 3-bolt camshaft and will not work with DOD/AFM or VVT systems. We offer this camshaft in a kit with everything needed to complete the job.
