TRP 4.8/5.3 Stage 3 Low Lift Truck Cam is best suited for those who want a nice bump in tq/hp with a lumpy idle in their 99-13 GM Truck or SUV with a 4.8L or 5.3L. Works great on 99-06 5.7/6.0 w/ Cathedral Port Heads.

TRP camshafts are ground in USA on USA made 5150 cores that have a smooth lobe design for quiet valvetrain operation and longevity. The idle quality will have a noticeable lope, and the drivability will be good pulling out to 6300 RPM.

You can expect to pick up around 50 HP and 20 ft/lbs of torque with long tube headers and a free-flowing exhaust after proper tuning. This camshaft does not require a full exhaust but will benefit from it. 3.42+ gearing recommended and a 2800+ stall required.

Notes:

• This is a 3-bolt camshaft and will not work with DOD/AFM or VVT systems. We offer this camshaft in a kit with everything needed to complete the job.
• This cam requires the use of a .560"/.570" Beehive Valve Spring
